NEW MICROFINE LIME SYSTEM: EnviroCare is currently supplying FL Smidth with a patented MicroMist Evaporative Gas Conditioning system and a patented MicroFine Lime (ML) system for the worlds largest kiln at Holcims's Ste. Genevieve plant. The MicroFine Lime system includes bulk storage, handling, and metered injection of a microfine lime slurry. The lime slurry is introduced into the process via the MicroMist Evaporative Gas Conditioning System into dual downcomer ducts. The system is designed to continually operate to maintain SO2 emission limits.
