Butterfield Scholarship Grant Winner AnnouncedThe 2008 NCBPMA/Butterfield Scholarship winner was announced on April 24 and is Jason Hardy Burks. Since July 2007 Jason Hardy Burks has been doing an internship at Small Press Distribution in the marketing department. The Scholarship Grant will allow him to work on an academic marketing project with Small Press Distribution.The NCBPMA/Carol C. Butterfield Scholarship Grant was established by Carol Butterfield’s friends and family to honor her memory and to continue her efforts to help individuals develop their careers in book marketing, publicity, and sales.
