A Thank You from Kathy Kathy would like to extend her heartfelt thanks to everyone for all of the e-mail, cards, gifts, thoughts and prayers that she’s received over the past month. Your care and support have helped to lift her spirits more than you can possibly imagine. For those who haven’t heard, Kathy was injured in a fall over the Labor Day holiday and broke every bone in her arm. She then endured a 5 hour surgery to set the bones and spent 4 days in the hospital. She is currently in physical therapy two times a week, and is expected to be rehabilitating for at least the next six months. She is excited that she was finally able to start driving again last week. Unfortunately, Kathy did have to cancel a class that she was scheduled to teach in Seattle, however, that class will now be held in Spring 2009. She was also unable to accompany her students to Italy for training at Oikos. Even with these setbacks, she’s making great strides in her recovery and is happy to have her life returning to business as usual. A "certificate of completion", however, does not a Certified Faux Finisher make!
