This report probably contains

problem solving information that will cause you to be angry after you realize how much time and money you wasted having your IRS tax problem mishandled by you or someone else!

taxes are placed freely by the IRS. You probably have
one already that you didn't ask for. That's why you may have
received several solicitations that came in the mail. People
with tax liens, and other tax problems are being "ambulance
chased" more than people who were in car accidents! There
are a lot of "new kids on the block" in this business who
are trying to cash in on the latest "craze" of "representing
taxpayers
before the IRS". There's even a company in Colorado who, for
a fee, will give you a loose leaf binder to read, making you
an overnight expert. I have clients who have used large national
companies to represent them. They quickly became unhappy because
of the lack of personal quality attention that was promised
! If you are thinking of hiring a company, Google the name
with the word SCAM after it. You will see the complaints filed!
Please only hire a company professionally licensed by
the state they are in. Otherwise you will have little recourse
when you are ripped off. Good CPA's and attorneys work
for firms licensed in their state. You must verify this
with the state board of accountants or state bar association.
Or ask if the company is licensed with the state board or
bar and ask for the company's license number. They should be able to give it
to you. If not, I'd be very suspicious! Beware of people bragging about all the board of
directors, civic or political groups they are members of.
Nothing will take the place of personal ongoing attention
by someone who has a lot of knowledge and experience in
solving IRS problems.
Don't Believe the HYPE
My clients and potential clients tell me that they are being told by "phone jockeys" that all their interest and
penalties can be removed, as well as other wild phony promises of saving money. Some are being told that all you need to do is file an offer in compromise or a
bankruptcy and everything will go away, when most often, a more comprehensive solution is necessary. These people prey on your ignorance and fear. A lot of people are afraid of the truth and don't want to deal with their tax problem. They want someone to say, for example, "Sign this form, fill out this other form, and pay me $500, and I'll take care of everything". Guess what? They are told what they want to hear. Then when they continue to have tax problems, they complain that they were ripped off.
Especially when they sign monthly bank drafts and later discover they were
cheated. They have to change banks because the drafts don't stop, and bill
collectors are sent after them!
I'm Joe Mastriano, a Houston, TX CPA in Harris County, dedicated to helping people actually solve their IRS problems. Not stretch the solution out for many months so I can collect additional fees, not give you a "band aid" solution that takes me 2 hours, and costs you $750, but actually solve the problem!
Over the last 25 years, I've represented people, as a firm, in thousand's of IRS

and penalties. I will, however, try very hard to convince you to take a closer look at your tax problem, and not just assume that "everything is being handled OK". That is what it takes to save the most money, and give you the best
protection against an IRS levy. In the past I have come across people who had their bank accounts, businesses, vehicles, accounts receivables, spouse's paycheck, retirement money, etc. seized when they thought that "everything was OK". I
feel bad for people when I hear them say to me, "The IRS, or my
representative told me I was in a payment plan or uncollectible, so I thought everything was OK".
MORE OFTEN THAN NOT, EVERYTHING IS NOT OK.
In fact, at least 9 out of 10 times when I consult with taxpayers I am able to help them save more money, or protect their assets to a greater extent than currently exists.
This has been my experience after thousands of case situations handled. I have proven methods that most people haven't even considered, no matter how many people they have spoken to in the past.
I deal with many new tax problems each week; more than anyone else I know! My practice is devoted primarily to representing taxpayers before the IRS. After working for H & R Block in college, I started my own accounting firm. Since 1981, I have assisted many other CPA's and lawyers with their clients' tax problems. I personally work my own cases. I do not employ junior accountants or ex IRS employees. My assistant and I meet daily to update the status of all cases worked on. All cases get close personal attention!
First some more information and then on to solving your Tax Problem....
My clients almost never meet with the IRS. Beware of people who are not licensed. These people have you present at meetings and during phone calls because the IRS will not speak to them alone. Except for a few special limited circumstances, only currently licensed CPAs, attorneys, and enrolled agents can practice before the IRS. Beware of non licensed CPAs and non attorneys that have CPA's and attorneys working for them. Good CPAs work for licensed CPA firms. Good
attorneys work for licensed law firms. Otherwise, you do not get the professional standards that these firms are regulated with. Please think this through very carefully, it's one of the biggest cons going in this industry. Non licensed wheeler and dealers are hiring licensed professionals who don't mind working for companies that are not held to that state's ethical standards for consumer protection. So if you file a complaint, it never goes against the owners, and they can continue to promise anything to sign you up, rip you off, and get away with it ! It's rare for someone to contact me and tell me that a state licensed CPA firm or licensed law firm ripped them off. Your only protection comes from hiring a state licensed firm, so you have greater reliability, and recourse if something goes wrong.
I have a very personal approach. I get along with IRS employees and do not fight with them. There is no need to, if you know the rules and how to work with the various departments to get things done. This is why you don't file a bankruptcy to force the IRS to release a wage or other levy. Your representative should have the experience and ability to stop
the IRS collection action within the IRS system.
I am not looking for people to change accountants! In many
situations I have helped people who brought their accountant
or advisor with them. I suggest that you be open to having
a second opinion, no matter what your current situation is.
It is not necessary to gather your
tax
returns or financial information before calling me. You have everything to gain
and nothing to lose by discussing your tax problem with me.
If, at the end of the first meeting/consultation you elect not to hire
me, there is no charge for the meeting!
Beware of people who "guarantee" wage levy and lien removals. The IRS has rules
and procedures to follow. If you don't qualify, they won't be removed quickly.
If you give the IRS false information just to get it off, you will pay later
when they find out what you did.
